I am having a solo exhibition titled "Paper Windows" at the Verne Gallery.
Opening Reception is on July 17th (Sat.)6-9 pm. The show runs through August 7th (Sat.)
Please come and enjoy the series of new works on paper( collage of etching & aquatint on antique worm eaten book pages from Japan, enameling on copper, embedded in layers of handmade paper).

December 2nd-6th:My new "Fusion"and "Journey through Mushikui"series will be exhibited at the Ink Miami during Art Basel Miami week.
November 4th-8th: Addition to "Fusion"series, my new "Journey through Mushikui" series will be shown at the ifpda print fair at the Verne Collection booth at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City.

"Journey through Mushikui" series is collages of worm eaten antique bookpages from Japan. Kaki-shibu (persimmon juice) has been added to my latest pieces. In ancient times, in Japan, persimmon juice was used to make washi paper and fabric materials more durable and waterproof (example: paper umbrella).

October 9th-11th: My new print and collage pieces will be exhibited at the Fine Print Fair of the Cleveland Print Club at the Corporate College. Please stop by the Verne Gallery booth.
My most recent series called "Fusion" combines etching and enameling over thin copper etching plates that have the same thickness as printmaking paper.

My "BABA book" is included in the exhibition titled "Monumental Ideas in Miniature Books" at the Columbia College Exhibition Space in Chicago. Curated by Hui-Chu Ying.
(March 6-28.) This exhibition is a part of the Southern Graphics Council Conference, "Global Implications" from March 25th through 29th.

February 26th-March 1st: I will be showing new BORO and Mushikui series at the Works on Paper show in New York Armory at the Verne Gallery booth. I've been experimenting with translucent effect using fabric texture in the print/collage.
